in season: a-tisket a-tasket a yummy yummy basket
Sunday, September 13, 2009 Coronation grapes are like nature’s candy. I wait for them all year to come out, and when the first batch hits my local farm market I do a little happy dance. They’re sweet, seedless and pop in your mouth. I’d love to give you a recipe for them, but honestly, they never make it much farther than from the little basket they come in to my lips.
Though I do have one suggestion... freeze them. Wash a bunch and stick them in a bowl in the freezer for about an hour. It’s the best thing on a hot day and makes you feel like a kid to eat them. If you’re craving something sweet but natural head for your local farmers market and pick these up!
coronation grapes.... isn't the basket just the cutest thing?

Hmm I'm going to have to make a trip to the crack head farm market at main street and terminal train station wednesday night in search of these.
Thanks to your suggestion I picked up a bunch from the market today - they're crazy sweet and grapelicious - I've never had anything like them before! Thanks for the tip :)
